The Yemen Peaberry Coffeeis produced in limited quantities from Yemen's Raimah and Hajjah regions. Raimah is mountainous area that is 1,600-3,200 feet above sea level while Hajjah is 2,000-2,400 ft above sea level. Yemen Peaberry Coffee comes from 75 small farms. They select the ripest cherries, collect all the different farmer's coffee beans in one area for drying and then spread the beans on the drying tables for 11 to 14 days. They arethen taken to Sanaa in bags and where they are hulled with a local milling company.This coffee is sugary, smooth, and winey with hints of wild fruit.
